Week None - Gender In Sci-Fi

This mission we will discuss how sci-fi has been used to represent people of different genders and how it can address real world gender issues.

To prepare for this mission over spring break, we recommend watching Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Outcast” (season 5, episode 17), which is available on Netflix and other streaming services. We also recommend The Left Hand Of Darkness by Ursula Le Guin.
